Ive also been trying to put together a Pauper madness deck playing Hell Mongrel alongside the card it is a callback to: Wild Mongrel
Obviously paying 7 means it will be hard for you to get your mana back when you cast it that way, but the fact is, having the Adventure side means the Familiar actually stays useful in the extremely late game, something that wouldnt be true otherwise One green mana to search up a basic land is a borderline playable, especially if youre playing more than two colors
Add in a few copies of [c]Soul Warden[/c] and [c]Souls Attendant[/c], and youre looking at a powerful deck with an interesting theme
Urborg There is a cycle of legendary lands in Legends , all of which enter the battlefield untapped and can tap for mana of any color, and they also all come with an activated ability
The SAR guarantee means every box delivers meaningful value, and the God Pack upside is unmatched
